Safety

Do not use dry flower petals in wet conditions. Hardly any commercial product would seem more innocent than dry flower petals, yet they can still create annoying or even dangerous situations if misused. If they are wetted - as by rain, melted snow, or spilled beverages - they can stain carpets, flooring, and clothes as readily as fresh ones, and they may become slippery on floors, steps, or walkways. Avoid spreading dry flower petals on dance floors or anywhere feet may be moving fast or in rotating motions - the petals may reduce traction just the same as would bits of paper the same size. Use of dry flower petals in bedclothes may cause some staining from pressure and body moisture.

Our products are decorative - Do not eat them. Flowers are not generally grown under the extremely strict horticultural conditions that are required for human edible food - therefore they should not be used as food nor in contact with food products.

When you are creating beautiful and fun uses for dry flower products use good sense about these issues. If you are a reseller or event coordinator be sure this safety information is passed along to your customers and clients.

Service

We make every effort to ship your order in a timely manner, and we usually ship complete within a few days of receiving it. However, high order inflow or limited raw materials availability may extend the time of shipment to 3 weeks or longer. Please help us to serve you by placing your orders early!

All products not available to ship immediately will be placed on back order and shipped when ready. If you must receive your product by a certain date, or cannot accept back orders, please be sure you specify this when placing each order.

We reserve the right to limit order quantities, substitute, or cancel and refund orders, during periods of shortage or other unavailability.

All products are first quality and in top condition when shipped. No other guarantees are given or implied.

We regret that we cannot be held responsible for errors in telephone orders.

There will be a $25.00 charge for each returned check. Buyer agrees to pay all reasonable charges and attorneys fees incurred in collecting unpaid checks or overdue accounts, including late fees at the rate of 1.5% per month on any unpaid balance. We reserve the right to request cash in advance or to refuse shipment to accounts which have been delinquent.

Charge Cards: Your telephone or written authorization for payments to be charged to your credit card is your agreement to be bound by the payment rules the same as if you had physically signed a charge card slip for each transaction.

Each sale is a separate contract, and whether in writing or verbal is subject to our TERMS OF SALE AND POLICIES. Please read them carefully. Your consent to these terms will be implied by the placement of each order.

Look Alive Dry Flowers (Seller) shall not be liable for loss, damage, or expenses of any kind except as specifically referred to in this contract. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, SELLER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL LOSS. Seller's liability, and Buyers exclusive remedy, in any case of dispute shall be expressly limited to replacement of the disputed product or refund of the purchase price thereon, at Seller's option. Having no control over Buyers use, and conditions of use, Seller makes no warranty of fitness for particular purpose. Seller shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from carrier's failure to deliver goods or from delays in delivery of goods.

All transactions including contracts of sale shall be governed and construed under the Laws of the State of New York and courts in New York shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

Claims for Damage / Shortage or Errors / Return Policy

Please inspect your shipment immediately! Claims for damage, shortage, or errors must be made within 3 days of your receipt.

Damage - notify us immediately, but you must follow the carrier's procedures for filing a claim - they are responsible for damage in transit.

If any part of your shipment shows obvious damage when it is delivered to you, note this on the waybill when you sign it, and call the carrier immediately to file a claim. If you discover concealed damage when you open the cartons to inspect your product, call the carrier immediately to request an inspection and to file a claim. Keep all original cartons and packaging materials until the carrier has completed their inspection.

Shortage or Errors / Return Policy - Claims for shortage or errors must be reported to us by telephone and fax or e-mail within 72 hours of delivery of the shipment.

We will accept responsibility for incorrect shipments and other similar problems. Whenever possible, replacement product will be shipped upon notification.

No Returns - Flowers or petals or flower treatment products may not be returned for credit or refund. No credit or refund will be issued on refused or returned shipments. Deductions from invoice will not be accepted.

Care Instructions

Flowers are delicate - please be patient when working with them. Remove packing materials slowly and carefully. Handle flower products gently.

For longest enjoyment of dry flower products - store or display them in a dry, cool area, away from excessive light. Do not display in shop windows, in direct sun, or under strong fluorescent light. Avoid excessive temperature and humidity. Covered plastic boxes are best for storage, do not store otherwise unprotected dry flower products in cardboard boxes. Do not store dry flower products in hot or damp attics or lofts, backrooms, floral coolers, or greenhouses.

Our products leave our facility free of bugs. However, bugs will get into dry flower products from other sources if they have a chance. Always be alert for the presence of bugs in your shop and take immediate action to track down and eliminate bugs if you ever see any.
